NXT superstar set to appear on Booker T's Reality of Wrestling

After Tatum Paxley and Kale Dixon, Josh Briggs will now be the next NXT talent to make an appearance on Booker T’s wrestling promotion, Reality of Wrestling. Briggs will be part of the show taking place on September 14, 2024, in Texas City, as announced by ROW. For the time being, Briggs’ opponent is yet to be decided.

However, Briggs’ status as the former NXT Tag Team champion is enough to excite the fans for the upcoming show. Josh won the NXT UK Tag Team titles after teaming up with Brooks Jensen and held onto it for a respectable 74 days. The only reason they lost the belt was due to NXT UK’s hiatus.

Ever since NXT UK drew their curtains, superstars like Briggs have struggled to find their footings. Lackluster booking and hit or miss storylines have affected his popularity, but Reality of Wrestling could change all of that for Briggs. Let’s take a closer look.

ROW could put Josh Briggs on the right track

Briggs is famous for putting on explosive performances and bringing a certain tenacity to his matches. He is dominant in the ring, and his size and athleticism complements the way he wrestles. So whoever ROW decides to stand against Josh Briggs will be in for quite a challenge. Briggs will also benefit from this, as he has been in desperate need of some kind of change.

We have already seen what NXT’s partnerships have done for wrestlers from other promotions. Joe Hendry, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel are perfect examples of this. Now, Briggs also has the opportunity to visit a different promotion and make a name for himself there. If Josh puts up a decent performance, it will also give him a ton of momentum.

So, this could be the push that Briggs has been looking for ever since NXT UK went out of business. Josh has the size, the charm and the skills to be a top wrestler in WWE.
