Vince McMahon's legacy has gone down as one of the most controversial figures in the history of WWE. He stepped back as the CEO and Chairman of WWE after allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity. It was also reported that he made settlements to suppress the allegations from the company's money that totaled to nearly $19.6 million.
In an interview with Playboy Magazine, he shared, "Not necessarily faithful. I probably lied to myself, thinking she knew who I was when we got married. The wild guy. But I never, ever threw anything in her face. I was discreet.” He further added, “One day she asked me, point-blank, 'Are you having an affair with so-and-so?' And I’ve never lied to her. ‘Yes.’ It crushed her.”

Next in 2008, a contractor with WWE complained to the management when McMahon sent her inappropriate pictures of himself. Another incident had occurred in 2006 when a former WWE Manager had an alleged sexual relationship with McMahon and was given $1 million to remain silent about it.
It has also been reported that McMahon had an extramarital affair with an employee who was hired in 2019 whom he met in his condo in Connecticut. He also paid her $3 million dollars in exchange for confidentiality. It was also mentioned that he had asked for the woman's salary to be raised from $100,000 to $300,000 after which it was raised to $200,000.
However, women claiming that they have been sexually exploited by McMahon dates back to more than four decades earlier. In 1986, Rita Chatterton claimed that McMahon had raped her in a limousine. She came forward in 2022. The latest complaint has come from Janel Grant who has filed a complaint against McMahon of 'physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault and trafficking.'
