Rikishi's Prayer Request For Jimmy Uso Raises Alarms

In the days leading up to Jimmy Uso’s return, Rikishi took to social media, asking for prayers for his son, Jonathan Fatu, which is Jimmy’s real name. The heartfelt message was accompanied by a video of Jimmy, which caused an outpouring of concern from fans who feared that the wrestler might be dealing with serious health issues. In his post, Rikishi wrote, “Dear GOD for strength & health to continue #JimmyUso #wwe #Bloodline #Anoai #Fatu Stay prayed for my boy #JonathanFatu.”

This simple prayer request triggered a wave of rumors online, with fans speculating that Jimmy was potentially hospitalized or dealing with a serious medical condition. Given his recent absence from the ring and the physical toll of his WWE career, these concerns quickly gained traction, leading many to believe that Jimmy Uso’s health was in jeopardy.

Following the widespread concern and rumors, Rikishi addressed the situation on his podcast, Off The Top, where he clarified that his message was greatly misunderstood. Rikishi explained that his intention was merely to ask for prayers for his son's general well-being, something any father would do, and not to signal any specific health crisis.

Rikishi stated, “God forbid I even say anything on social media. You know, everybody thought that Jimmy was in the hospital, he was… All I said was just send a prayer to my son. That’s it as any father would give any son. You know, just pray for my son that’s it. I didn’t say nothing he was in the hospital, I didn’t say… I just pray for his health. That’s what I was saying.”

Despite his innocent intentions, Rikishi revealed that he received significant backlash for the post. Many fans interpreted the prayer request as an indication of a serious health issue, which led to unnecessary panic. Reflecting on the experience, Rikishi added, “Oh, hell! I got so much slack for just a father trying to send some prayers for his boy.”

Jimmy Uso's Well-Being and Current WWE Storyline

Thankfully, Rikishi assured everyone that Jimmy Uso is doing well, putting all health concerns to rest. Not only is Jimmy in good health, but he is also actively involved in a major storyline alongside Roman Reigns on WWE's Friday Night SmackDown. The storyline centers around Jimmy and Roman’s efforts to dismantle the New Bloodline, a faction that has dominated WWE for years. Jimmy’s return at Bad Blood set the stage for this ongoing feud, and fans are eagerly awaiting how the storyline will unfold in the coming weeks.

Moving Forward

While Rikishi’s post caused an unintended stir, it’s clear that both father and son are now focused on moving forward. Rikishi has stated that he won’t be making any more comments about Jimmy Uso’s health on social media, to avoid any future misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso is back in action, and fans can look forward to seeing more of him as the drama between him and Roman Reigns continues to heat up.

As the WWE Universe watches closely, it’s clear that Jimmy Uso is ready to reclaim his place in the ring, and his fans, now reassured about his health, are ready to support him every step of the way.
