WWE is expanding its wrestling universe with the launch of
WWE Evolve, a brand-new show designed to showcase emerging talent. This new program will provide a platform for rising stars to gain exposure and prove their skills in hopes of earning a spot on WWE’s main roster. With a focus on development and competition, WWE Evolve is set to become an opportunity for the next generation of wrestling superstars.
A New Platform for Emerging Talent
WWE is set to launch its newest wrestling brand, WWE Evolve, on Wednesday, March 5. The show will serve as a stepping stone for upcoming wrestlers looking to secure a spot on WWE’s main roster. Inspired by the original EVOLVE promotion,
which WWE acquired in 2020, this new series will provide a much-needed platform for young talent to gain recognition in the wrestling industry.
WWE Evolve will air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT and will be available for streaming on Tubi. With this schedule, the show is set to go head to head with AEW Dynamite, making it the first wrestling program to directly challenge AEW’s flagship show on a weekly basis since WWE NXT.
Behind the Scenes and Show Details
The new series will be helmed by Gabe Sapolsky, the founder of the original EVOLVE promotion, who has been appointed as the showrunner. According to Dave Meltzer of the
Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has already taped seven episodes of the show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The company has also taken steps to limit access to these tapings in an effort to prevent leaks from reaching the public.

Paul "Triple H" Levesque
revealed that WWE Evolve will feature talent from the WWE ID program, a new initiative focused on developing independent wrestling stars and nurturing talent from wrestling schools.
In anticipation of the show’s debut, WWE released a YouTube compilation of Drew McIntyre’s best matches from EVOLVE Wrestling on Friday morning, paying tribute to the legacy of the original promotion while building excitement for what’s to come.
