WWE Superstar Kevin Owens Is Reportedly Getting A New Contract Deal

Kevin Owens is one of the top WWE superstars with a remarkable career legacy to his credit. The former Universal Champion is very much active in the business but WWE has reportedly been in a hurry to sign a new deal with the superstar ahead of his current contract expires. Also, it has been reported that WWE’s biggest rival AEW has been eyeing Owens to book for their roster if he becomes a free agent following his current deal with WWE ends.WWE has been very keen on keeping their top superstars in the company. Right after the news of renewing Sheamus' contract, the company has reportedly been eager to book Kevin Owens with a new deal way ahead of his current contract’s expiry date. It is unclear what new perks are added in the contract but it is fair to speculate that a few more benefits will be added for KO. The former Universal Champion signed the current contract in January 2022 with a three-year deal and is expected to end in January next year. So far, the company has re-signed Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Natalya, and a few other superstars extending their future in WWE.In another report, sources claim that AEW has long been interested in booking Owens in their roster. Several WWE superstars have already made their AEW debut and thriving in the company, most recently, Ricochet joined AEW at the end of August following the end of his WWE contract. Female superstar Becky Lynch’s contract has also reportedly expired and she has been a free agent for a while, however, she is expected to make her WWE return soon with a new deal.As for Owens, Cody Rhodes gave him a Universal title shot at the Bash In Berlin but could not defeat the champion. Still, he has been very acting on TV.
