"Worth it, stooge!": WWE Superstar Responds to Hefty Fine Issued by Management
A WWE superstar recently addressed the news that he was fined a substantial sum for his involvement in a violent incident on television. Big Bronson Reed used Twitter to respond to WWE official Adam Pearce's announcement, offering a brief but pointed remark about his actions. Reed's response was simple yet defiant: “Worth it, stooge.”
The aforementioned occurrence occurred on the most recent episode of WWE RAW. After CM Punk gave an in-ring promo to start the segment, things quickly got heated and involved Seth Rollins. The sudden intrusion by Drew McIntyre escalated the situation even more, leading to an unexpected and frightening turn of events.
As Punk pursued McIntyre out of the ring, leaving Rollins vulnerable, Big Bronson Reed seized the opportunity to strike. Reed launched a brutal assault on Rollins, delivering a relentless barrage of six Tsunami finishers. He was gearing up for a seventh when officials intervened, rolling Rollins out of the ring to put an end to the merciless attack.
Adam Pearce, general manager of RAW, later used social media to inform followers about the attack's aftermath. Seth Rollins has several injuries, including multiple shattered ribs and internal bruising, Pearce disclosed. Rollins will therefore be out for an extended amount of time. In addition to the injury update, Pearce announced that Reed had been fined a significant, though undisclosed, amount of money for his actions.
Veteran wrestling analyst Vince Russo predicts that WWE will phase out Bronson Reed following his current feud with Seth Rollins, much like they did with Shinsuke Nakamura. Russo expressed his disapproval of WWE's booking strategy, suggesting that Reed is being used as a temporary antagonist for Rollins, merely to build up to Rollins' anticipated showdown with CM Punk.
With his vicious attack on Seth Rollins, Reed gained notoriety on RAW. The star was left coughing up blood and in need of immediate medical attention. Reed wanted to make it very clear to the WWE Universe that he is a formidable opponent and is among the best in the business, so he launched the attack. Russo believes that despite this bold statement, WWE's focus will eventually shift away from Reed, reducing his role after the Rollins feud concludes.
