Did Randy Orton explain his heinous actions from last week's SmackDown?
Randy Orton shocked the world by laying a vicious assault on his WrestleMania 42 opponent, Cody Rhodes, last week on SmackDown. The Viper came out this week to explain that he wanted his legacy to be remembered by the number of World titles he won in his career, not being a good guy and promised to become a killer to win at WrestleMania. Throughout the night, he had encounters with multiple people and even pushed Matt Cardona to the floor.
Orton came back to the ring at the end of the night and called out Cardona to the ring to apologize. However, when he came out, Orton began to attack him. He was about to to do same thing he did to Rhodes last week; however, the WWE officials managed to stop The Viper from any further assault.
How far did Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu's tensions went?
WWE SmackDown began with Drew McIntyre ramming his car straight into Jacob Fatu's. The two superstars brawled into the arena which led to Nick Aldis cancelling their match.
However, that did not stop them from brawling throughout the night. The final shot of this week's SmackDown saw McIntyre and Fatu fighting a top a balcony area. McIntyre dropped down and dragged Fatu with him to end the show.
What were the other major highlights of WWE SmackDown this week?
Two WWE Tag Team title matches took place on SmackDown this week. R-Truth and Damian Priest defeated The MFTs to become new champions, while Bella Twins failed to win the titles from Nia Jax and Lash Legend due to interference by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Moreover, Jelly Roll and Kit Wilson met in the ring for a poetry diss battle that saw Wilson striking him down. Next week on SmackDown, they will compete in a match. Finally, the match of the night was Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov delivering a highly captivating US title match which stole the show.
