Lana makes much anticipated debut
After announcing the historic Women's 'Money in the Back ladder' match, SmackDown Live commissioner Shane McMahon hit the ground running unveiling the Money in the Bank contract briefcase in the presence of all the five competitors - Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya and Tamina.

Naomi joined the fray saying she will be waiting for the winner of this match. But the surprise was the entrance of Lana, making her first SmackDown Live appearance since the Superstar Shake up. Looking ravishing as always, Lana asked McMahon for a chance to be a participant in the ladder match, to which Naomi reminded Lana about not even competing on SamckDown Live. She was eventually refused by McMahon. McMahon said she must earn the opportunity.

Lana however, got back with Naomi by interfering in the six-woman tag match by tripping the Woman's champion on the ring apron allowing Tamina to hit the super kick and earn the victory for her team.

Mahal's first match as WWE Champion
Two weeks after becoming the
WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal faced off against Mojo Rawley, the only wrestler to defeat Mahal on SmackDown Live. Rawley was off the blocks early but a slight distraction from Singh brothers helped Mahal to get back on even terms and with a rake in the eyes, Mahal hit the Khallas on Rawley to pick up the victory.

USOS build momentum
USOS continued to raise their stocks with yet another fantastic 'Paranoia' promo aimed at The New Day after the former champions won their match against The Colons and the build up to the USOS vs The New Day in The Money in the Bank for the SmackDown Live Tag Team championships seems lit

Nakamura beats Owens clean
The United States Champion and the new face of America hit the Kingshasa on Owens for a third straight week and pinned Owens one-on-one for the first time. A clean loss to Owens which is quite rare to see, but Nakamura build momentum ahead of the Monet in the Bank ladder match. Corbin who was on commentary jumped the Artiste and hit the End of Days and walked away.
