As WWE heads into a blockbuster summer season, the rumor mill is buzzing with speculation - from the uncertain status of Night of Champions to major backstage sightings, new show concepts, and potential Hollywood moves. Here's what fans are talking about.

Night of Champions may face schedule disruption

With geopolitical tensions rising in the Middle East, questions have surfaced about the status of WWE’s upcoming Night of Champions event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event, scheduled for June 28, has sparked concerns after the U.S. launched airstrikes on Iran. While WWE has not made any official announcements, Fightful Select reports that the company is “monitoring the situation closely.” Meanwhile, PW Insider adds that production work in Riyadh is ongoing and no talent has been instructed to halt travel. A decision, if any - would likely be made before Wednesday, the official travel day.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage reunion still in play

Fans hoping for a dream reunion between Adam Copeland (Edge) and Christian Cage can still hold out hope. According to Fightful, the match is still planned but not necessarily for All In Texas. Christian is said to be focused on wrapping up his current storyline with The Patriarchy before reuniting with his long-time partner.

WWE Late Night? New trademark sparks speculation

A fresh trademark filing for “WWE Late Night” has sparked rumors that the promotion could be launching a late-night show. While details remain scarce, fans are already speculating whether this will be a digital talk show, recap program, or something entirely new.
With WWE recently expanding its presence on streaming and social media platforms, a late-night concept could target a younger or more casual audience.

Batista linked to road house sequel

In entertainment crossover news, former WWE Champion Dave Bautista is reportedly in talks to join the sequel of Road House. The film, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, is expected to be another Amazon Prime blockbuster. Talks with Batista haven’t officially begun, but Deadline reports he’s a top name on the producers’ radar.
Other Notable Buzz:
  • Damian Priest is said to be working through injury, but is still expected to feature at SummerSlam in New Jersey.
  • Gail Kim was spotted backstage at NXT, fueling speculation about a potential WWE return.
