WWE has heated up on the road to Survivor Series. From the incoming War Games teams to tying up the loose ends for multiple ongoing storylines, there’s a lot that has happened over the past few days in the Stamford-based promotion.
That said, there’s still some time for Survivor Series to happen so expect a lot to go down over the last few episodes before this explosive Premium Live Event, but here’s a quick rundown of some of the major events that have happened at these previous events so far.
Major incidents in the WWE this week
1) Where is the Wiseman?

Roman Reigns finds Paul Heyman’s phone number disconnected: SmackDown highlights, Nov. 15, 2024
Paul Heyman, the Wiseman of the OG Bloodline, has been absent from WWE programming after facing a brutal attack from Solo Sikoa a few months ago. Now that Roman Reigns is slowly forming his army once again, he needs his trusted advisor at his side.
Following the brutal attack on him at last week’s SmackDown, Roman Reigns went back to the locker room and wanted to call Paul Heyman, but he soon figured out that Heyman’s number was not in working order. This raises the question, where is the Wiseman?
2) Rhea Ripley makes an explosive comeback on RAW

Rhea Ripley returns as WarGames challenge awakens chaos: Raw highlights, Nov. 18, 2024
Rhea Ripley was taken out by Raquel Rordriguez and Liv Morgan earlier on NXT, and allegedly has suffered severe injuries to her face. However, earlier this week on RAW, when the two groups of women were in a standoff, Rhea Ripley came back and sided with Ivo Sky, Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill against Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodrigues, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and Candace LaRae.
Ripley came back into the ring and took the fight to Liv Morgan after screaming War Games on the microphone. This goes on to show that one of the matches for the event has been set up.
3) Seth Rollins set to join the OG Bloodline?

Seth "Freakin" Rollins rebukes Solo Sikoa's offer to join team: Raw highlights, Nov. 11, 2024
Over the years, Seth Rollins has made it extremely clear that he doesn’t want to be associated with Roman Reigns under any circumstances. However, over the past few weeks, it’s been looking as if he’ll eventually have to side with Roman Reigns after Bronson Reed joined Solo Sikoa’s team for War Games.
That said, it’ll be interesting to see because CM Punk is also in the mix since he’s Paul Heyman’s main guy even before Brock Lesnar, so it’ll be interesting to see who eventually joins the Bloodline for the 5v5 War Games match at Survivor Series.
4) Zilla Fatu could be joining WWE soon
Rikishi made a few cryptic posts on Instagram the other day among which were posts about Zilla Fatu, his nephew and late Umaga’s son. Zilla Fatu has shown quite a lot of promise as a wrestler and has been on WWE’s radar for a while.
Although he’s not been associated with the promotion just yet, it’s likely that the Stamford-based promotion will be reaching out to him soon. Rikishi’s post has made it all the more clear that Zilla Fatu will be heading to the Stamford-based promotion sometime soon in the future.
5) Damian Priest takes the fight to Gunther

Gunther’s backstage attack on Damian Priest backfires: Raw highlights, Nov. 18, 2024
Gunther and Damian Priest will be going head to head at Survivor Series for the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, this can be considered as a grudge match, especially after Finn Balor had cost Damian the match and the title.
With this match, Priest will be looking to make good on his loss at SummerSlam and will be looking to regain the title once again. Although there’s been a lot of to and fro so far between the two wrestlers, Damian Priest is looking strong going into this match.
