Former AEW Tag Team Champion Penta made his much-awaited WWE debut on the January 13 edition of Monday Night Raw. He took on Chad Gable in a tough match that lasted a little over 13 minutes before securing a decisive victory. The WWE Universe erupted in excitement as Penta displayed his impressive mix of speed, power, and agility.
After his match, Penta addressed the audience with a passionate promo, making it clear that he had arrived in WWE to create history by saying his arrival represented the dawn of a new era.
WWE had spent weeks building anticipation for Penta’s debut. Even Michael Cole described his signing as the worst-kept secret in the industry. Now, with Penta officially in WWE, the company is reportedly planning something big for him, especially at WrestleMania 41.

WWE’s Plans For Penta At WrestleMania

Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda has reported that WWE has "big plans" for Penta in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41. Penta is also said to be in for an impressive performance in the upcoming Royal Rumble match which might play well into his WrestleMania plans. While Penta may not be the top favorite to win the Royal Rumble, he could still have a major role in the match. Reports suggest that he might be this year’s Iron Man, the superstar who lasts the longest in the Royal Rumble match.
The men’s Iron Man in 2024 was Jey Uso, who later in the year captured the Intercontinental Title and solidified his place as one of WWE’s most popular stars. If WWE follows a similar path for Penta, he could be in line for a huge push. A strong showing at the Royal Rumble could set him up for a big WrestleMania moment, and possibly a championship opportunity.

From AEW To WWE: Penta’s Rise To The Top

Before signing with WWE, Penta was a key player in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) from 2019 to early 2024. Alongside his brother, Rey Fenix, he won both the AEW World Tag Team Titles and the AEW World Trios Titles, competing against top teams like The Young Bucks and FTR. Prior to signing with WWE, Penta had been a major part of AEW from 2019 through the early part of 2024.
Now in WWE, Penta has a chance to elevate his career to new heights. With reports of the company investing heavily in his future, fans are eager to see what’s next. Will he deliver a record-breaking performance at the Royal Rumble? The road to WrestleMania 41 has just begun, and Penta’s journey is one to watch closely.
