WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi Speaks on the Potential of The Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu has been nothing short of phenomenal ever since he made his WWE debut last year. Despite being in the company for just six months, Fatu has already headlined three PLEs and has butted heads with superstars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and more. At a single glance, it is clear to see that Fatu is a man meant for greater things and has the potential to be one of the best wrestlers in the world. His Anoa'i kin and WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi seem to agree.

Rikishi Asks Jacob Fatu to Stay Humble and Remember His Roots

Speaking on an episode of Rikishi Fatu Off the Top, the WWE Hall of Famer gave Jacob Fatu some solid advice on how to become a leader in WWE. He said, “Step up. Step up to any opportunity that's given to you.”


He further added, “Always remember your humble beginnings, of what you come from and your culture. That's what's [going to] keep you solid from all the noise that's around you. It can be overwhelming to, at first, have nothing, then all of a sudden, have everything. Look within your inner circle, those that truly love you.”

Rikishi recognizes Fatu’s greatness but is not necessarily happy with his sadistic character, the Samoan Werewolf. The WWE Hall of Famer described Fatu as a lovable kid and advised him to stay himself. Rikishi also shed light on when Lance Anoa’i and Hikuleo might finally make their WWE debut. He believes that it will depend on which path Solo Sikoa ends up taking in 2025.

Lastly, Rikishi mentioned that he sees Jacob Fatu becoming a singles wrestler once his role in the Bloodline story is finished. We’ve all seen what Fatu is capable of inside the squared ring and he will undoubtedly thrive as a singles competitor. With the way he’s going, the sky is the limit for Jacob Fatu.
