These wrestlers will join the list of other fellow wrestlers whose names also got dropped recently by the company. It includes names like Isla Dawn, Blair Davenport, Sonya Deville, the Authors of Pain, Paul Ellering, and Cedric Alexander, who were also cut over the weekend.

Why is WWE releasing Gallows, Vinci, and Anderson?

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are seemingly the oldest of this crop of releases. The duo haven't acknowledged their release move on social media yet.

Moreover, it has been a while since the wrestlers featured on WWE TV or anything significant. Their days of being a part of the O.C. with A.J. Styles and Michin are almost over. Notably, Anderson is out with an injury with a torn labrum and rotator cuff, he had surgery in November and used the word "indefinitely" in a December interview.

Meanwhile, Neither Vinci nor Anderson had not been a part of any wrestling competition in 2025. Both men's most recent matches were against each other in an untelevised contest ahead of the December 13 episode of "WWE SmackDown." Fightful sources believe that he was pushed down the card with the other two wrestlers knowing Vinci wouldn't be brought back.

The WWE's Roster Disbands Several Factions

Based on the recent moves and decisions by the company, several factions have been reportedly disbanded as many wrestlers have been released from their contracts. It includes factions like Pure Fusion Collective, The Last Testament, The O.C., and The Unholy Union.

As per reports, there could be a few signings coming up that would explain the sudden purge. With multiple wrestlers released from the company, it remains to be seen if more names will be cut on the road to WrestleMania 41.
