The landscape of WWE will be altered at their next major show for NXT superstars, WWE Roadblock. It will air as a special episode on the CW network on March 11, 2025, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

With the show set to take place in the World’s Most Famous Arena, NXT General Manager Ava announced one of the biggest matches in the history of WWE NXT.

Which high-stakes match will take place at WWE Roadblock?

On the February 25th, 2025 edition of WWE NXT, Stephanie Vaquer defended her NXT Women’s North American Championship successfully against Karmen Petrovic. Following the match, she was confronted by her ally and current NXT Women’s Champion, Giulia.

The Beautiful Madness called her the best champion she saw but then said that she was better. This statement led to Stephanie Vaquer wanting to prove her worth against her best friend, Giulia, and threw out a historic challenge. Vaquer challenged Giulia to a ‘Champion vs Champion’ match with both the NXT Women’s & North American titles on the line. Later on that night, General Manager Ava announced that she had spoken with both Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, and the match was official for WWE Roadblock.

Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer signed with WWE last year. They were brought as international sensations who have elevated the NXT Women’s division in a short period of time and have proven themselves to be top additions to the roster. Giulia won the NXT Women’s Championship at the first NXT PLE of 2025, New Year’s Evil when she dethroned and the ended the dominant reign of Roxanne Perez. On the other hand, Stephanie Vaquer won a spectacular in-ring showdown against Fallon Henley at Vengeance Day to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship. This made her the first Chilean and South American woman to win a title in WWE.

With two of the biggest and brightest titles of WWE NXT set to collide in a high-stakes match, it will be interesting to see who leaves Madison Square Garden with both titles.
