NEW DELHI: WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis continues to assert his authority by taking strict actions against rule-breakers. After suspending
Kevin Owens last week, Aldis showed that he is not one to play favorites as he ejected Cody Rhodes from the arena during the latest episode.
The unfolding drama began with Rhodes initially being spotted backstage in Aldis' office during a segment involving the women's division.
However, the situation escalated when Rhodes intervened to save LA Knight from an attack by Solo Sikoa and
Jimmy Uso after his match.
While Rhodes seemed to have been invited to SmackDown by Aldis, and was still in his suit at the time of the altercation, the moment he went to the ring and became physically involved with members of the SmackDown locker room, it appears he violated the same rule that led to Owens' suspension last week. As a consequence, Aldis made the decision to ask Rhodes to leave the arena.
Aldis, in his role as General Manager, is making it clear that he values discipline and adherence to rules from all members of the SmackDown roster. The actions taken against Owens and now Rhodes showcase Aldis as a GM who stands by his word and ensures that every superstar is held to the same standard.
