Linda Hogan is done playing it quiet. In a raw Instagram Story, she let it all out—tears, accusations, and the pain of being cut off by her daughter. It's been 15 years since her split from wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, but the drama still spills over. And this time, she’s not protecting anyone.

Linda Hogan’s March 2025 Instagram Story wasn’t a typical post. She broke down crying on camera, saying her life hasn’t been the same since she divorced Hulk Hogan.
“It’s been 15 however long years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is the worst mess,” she said, face bare, voice cracking.
She claimed her daughter, Brooke Hogan, hasn’t spoken to her in nearly eight years. Linda found out through the internet that Brooke had twins and got married to hockey player Steven Oleksy in 2022. “She didn’t tell us,” Linda said. “She had a huge fight with Terry. I don’t know how that reflected onto me. But she cut me out too.”
Linda blamed Hulk Hogan for the breakdown. Said he just kept moving like nothing happened—promoting his Real American Beer, posing like a national hero, ignoring the wreckage.
“He’s a complete liar. He’s a sex addict… yet he marches on. Such a hero, right? Not.”
She added she’s given Hulk Hogan several chances to fix the family, but he never took them. “It’s been 20 years and I’m still this sad. Somebody please explain that.”
She said she’s done with marriage. “I do love living alone. I don’t ever want to be married again after him, trust me.”

Hulk Hogan’s affair with Brooke Hogan’s best friend triggered the 2007 divorce, and it only got worse from there

The downfall didn’t start with Instagram. It started with an affair. In 2007, Linda Hogan filed for divorce, and according to her publicist, it was because Hulk Hogan had cheated on her—with Brooke Hogan’s best friend. Christine Plante confirmed the affair in 2008, telling National Enquirer she and Hulk had grown close during a rough patch in his marriage.
“It seemed right then, but I know it was wrong,” Plante admitted. She said she even gave Brooke Hogan an apology note.
Brooke Hogan posted a now-deleted MySpace rant: “When your best friend and one of your closest family members… betray you together… you will NEVER forget the hurt.”
Hulk Hogan denied cheating. In his book My Life Outside the Ring, he said Linda always suspected him but insisted he only had “innocent friendships.” He claimed Hogan Knows Best ruined their marriage.
Linda’s team wasn’t having it. Her publicist clapped back: “Hulk Hogan is saying anything he can conjure up to make Linda look bad in the media.”
Their divorce finalized in 2009. Linda walked away with over 70% of their liquid assets, 40% of Hulk’s businesses, and a $3 million property settlement.

In 2015, things got even messier. A leaked tape from 2008 captured Hulk Hogan using racist slurs while talking about Brooke’s career and who she was dating. He dropped the n-word multiple times and said, “I guess we’re all a little racist.”
Brooke Hogan defended him publicly, calling him “my dad, I love him,” and blamed the outburst on a dark time. She pointed out his friendships with Dennis Rodman and Mr. T, saying he wasn’t racist. She also said the backlash was hard on him and that she understood both sides.
But defending him didn’t heal things. In 2023, Hulk Hogan married Sky Daily. Nick Hogan showed up. Brooke Hogan didn’t.
Three days later, Brooke posted a statement saying she needed “privacy,” and chose to “distance [herself] from [her] family.” She made it clear it was about protecting her peace and aligning with her values.
