Who is Gunther's wife? Exploring the personal life of the Ring General

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has been enjoying a lot of success inside the ring over the last few years. In just five years, The Ring General has gone from being relatively unknown to being the WWE NXT UK Champion, the WWE Intercontinental Champion and now the World Heavyweight Champion.

Gunther is well on his way to being one of the best in-ring performers of all time, but today we won’t be talking about him. Instead, this article focuses on Gunther’s wife, Jinny Sandhu better known as Jinny. Let’s get into it.

Who is Gunther’s wife, Jinny Sandhu?

Born and raised in London, Jinny is a former professional wrestler of Pakistani descent. Sandhu first rose to prominence in the UK wrestling scene by capturing the PROGRESS Women’s Championship twice. Thanks to her efforts and impressive combined reign of 482 days, Jinny was able to land herself a contract with NXT UK.

Unfortunately, Jinny was only on the WWE roster for a total of four years and went on to announce her in-ring retirement in 2023 following a year of being inactive. Jinny announced that she would be hanging up her boots because of injury issues.

How did Jinny and Gunther meet?

Jinny and Gunther met each other when they were both trying to make a name for themselves on the independent wrestling scene. What started as a budding romance, turned into a proper relationship once Gunther and Jinny were both picked up by WWE NXT UK. The two reportedly started dating in 2021 and decided to tie the knot in 2023, thus solidifying their place as a wrestling power couple.

Following their marriage, Jinny decided to pick up Gunther’s last name and is now known as Jinny Hahn. The two have been married for a little over a year and have a son together. From the looks of it, Gunther seems to be flourishing both outside and inside the ring. The amount of growth that the Ring General has been through over the last couple of years has been astounding, to say the least.
