That organization sadly didn’t last long, but despite that Arnold Schwarzenegger continued to maintain a strong relationship with the World Wrestling Federation, and befriended multiple wrestlers some of who eventually moved to acting later on.

Just like most Hollywood celebrities who’ve made an appearance in the company, Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t really contribute a lot to the matches that you get to see in the ring. However, he’s one of the most popular actors all around the world, so he’s got an exceptional star power, which ensured a lot of footfall at the events they were being advertised for.

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger ever wrestle in WWE?

Although Arnold Schwarzenegger never wrestled with the company, he’s been in the ring a couple of times, and has also been inducted into the celebrity Hall of Fame with the company. This took place in 2015 and his induction was a result of his contribution not just to the world of bodybuilding but society in general.

Apart from that he appeared in the company on three other occasions. One was in 2014 where he appeared alongside Hulk Hogan and Joe Manganiello, clipping The Miz across the jaw. He also made an appearance in 2014 at WrestleMania 29 where he inducted his friend Bruno Sanmartino into the WWE Hall of Fame.

However, his most memorable appearance was back in 1999, when he was awarded the World Box Office Championship by Vince McMohan. This title wasn’t really contested in the ring anymore, and was a replica title. However, Arnold Schwarzenegger did get into an altercation with now WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque during this episode of Monday Night RAW.

While Arnold didn’t have a prolonged run in WWE, his appearances helped bridge the worlds of bodybuilding, acting, and professional wrestling—especially considering his status as an international icon. He remains a beloved figure among wrestling fans, even though his time in the ring was relatively brief.
