Matt and Jeff Hardy recently made headlines by recording new content with WWE in Cleveland, the host city of SummerSlam 2024. According to some reports, the Hardy brothers were seen outside one of the WWE talent hotels, fueling speculation about their involvement. It was later confirmed that the Hardy’s were in Cleveland for WrestleCon and had been invited to film interviews and additional content.

PW Insider reported that the Hardy Boyz met with WWE on August 2, 2024, just before SummerSlam. Adding to the excitement, Fightful Select mentioned that Matt and Jeff Hardy were seen outside one of the WWE talent hotels.

On his podcast, “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy”, Matt Hardy disclosed the details of their work, Matt Said:

“We get on that plane, we get to Cleveland, as soon as we get to Cleveland, we were met by a WWE driver who picked us up to take us to the WWE TV hotel where we went and recorded some media, some digital for those guys which is going to air on some of their platforms coming up in the future.

“It was very cool, it was very cool to interact with a lot of the guys. We walked in, very first person we saw was Jey Uso which was cool. Saw a couple of the other boys, saw some of the office.

“We got some really neat stuff that’s going to be coming out on WWE digital over the course of probably the next three, four, five months.” (Via The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy/Fightful)

Matt and Jeff Hardy were invited by WWE to Cleveland, where they recorded media content for upcoming WWE platforms. Matt mentioned that it was great to interact with talents like Jey Uso and hinted at some exciting digital content to be released over the next few months.


Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently making appearances in TNA Wrestling, but they are doing so without a formal contract in place. Despite their involvement, their status remains informal and uncontracted at this time.
