Triple H Drops New Men’s And Women’s WWE ID Belts

It was recently reported that WWE is set to reveal more ID prospects since the platform continues to identify prospects who have been “ID’d” as part of WWE Independent Development. WWE ID is the company’s new program which strives to help independent wrestlers. Today, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has unveiled two new WWE Championship titles to debut soon along with two newly minted title belts.

Triple H Reveals New WWE ID Belts To Recognise Indie Prospects

WWE announced its new Independent Development program last year, along with a number of independent wrestlers who are now signing ID contracts with the company. “The top independent wrestling prospects have been ID’d… and now, we’re ready to spotlight the best of the best. Here’s your first look at the Men’s and Women’s @WWEID Championships,” Triple H wrote on X.



Both belts bear maximalist designs. The Men’s WWE ID Championship has a discerning black strap with a massive silver-plated centre plate showcasing the WWE logo in bold letters, flanked by gold-toned geometric patterns. The Women’s WWE ID Championship is almost similar but with a white strap.

As per WWE’s website, the WWE ID will recognise top independent wrestling prospects with an official WWE ID or designation. The program is designed to support their developmental journey by providing necessary financial backing and helping them out with training, mentorship and development.



Jack Cartwheel, Ice Williams, Marcus Mathers, Sam Holloway, and others have been confirmed as ID prospects. WWE ID’s official X page broke down the rules of a WWE ID match. The matches will occur on various independent wrestling promotions, results of these matches will come out live in the #WWEID universe, these wins can advance the wrestlers’ careers and lead to opportunities on WWE EVOLVE (which will showcase in-ring action featuring rising WWE prospects as they look to make it to NXT, SmackDown & Raw).
