7 WWE legends who hate Hulk Hogan in real life
Hulk Hogan is undeniably one of the most iconic names in wrestling, but his legacy is clouded with controversies and strained relationships. From backstage feuds to personal disagreements, Hogan’s reputation has led to friction with numerous WWE legends. Here’s a look at seven wrestling icons who had their issues with the Hulkster in real life.
Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Hulk Hogan’s issues date back to the 1990s. Hart has been vocal about Hogan’s backstage politics, particularly during their time together in WWE and later in WCW. Hart has accused Hogan of dodging a potential match with him, which he believed would have helped establish him as the face of WWE. Their relationship only worsened over time, with Hart often criticizing Hogan’s influence and self-serving decisions.
Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan’s relationship was a blend of on-screen chemistry and real-life tension. Though they shared success as part of the Mega Powers, Savage reportedly harbored personal resentment toward Hogan over issues involving Miss Elizabeth, Savage’s then-wife.
Savage believed Hogan had overstepped boundaries, which led to years of animosity. Although they reconciled briefly, the tension remained unresolved up to Savage’s passing.
MVP went out of his way to highlight a crucial distinction after he implied in previous remarks that black male wrestlers don't get booked properly under Triple H. While criticizing Triple H's booking, MVP said he never suggested Triple H was racist and didn't think that.
The more significant statement, though, was when MVP referred to Hulk Hogan as a wrestler he would label racist. Hogan nearly had his reputation permanently damaged by his notorious racist outburst. MVP claimed that because of what Hulk said on camera about someone he doesn't love, Hogan is a racist.

At the beginning of the 1990s, the Undertaker immediately rose to prominence in the WWE. After being introduced as a heel persona, Undertaker advanced swiftly and, more rapidly than anticipated, found himself in a world title program with Hulk Hogan.
After the game, Hogan stated that he was really hurt by the Tombstone Piledriver. Upon replaying the tape, the undertaker saw that Hogan's head was far from the mat. Undertaker was never able to trust The Hulkster after that.
Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels came face-to-face for the first time in a dream match that WWE scripted for SummerSlam 2005. Formerly negotiated intentions for Michaels to win a rematch were apparently shut down by Hogan, who was supposed to always win the first match here.
Because of his dissatisfaction with Hogan's altered intentions, Michaels lost control during the SummerSlam match. Michaels attempted to make a joke out of Hogan during interviews about how everything transpired, which was an example of comedic overselling.
Dixie Carter wanted to restore the friendship between WCW's Hulk Hogan and Vince Russo. After Russo personally buried him in the promo for the shoot, Hogan left WCW. Carter refused to cut bait with Russo, and the two didn't communicate until Hogan got to TNA.
Similar problems arose from WCW, where Eric Bischoff and Hogan were friendly with one another but showed little regard for Russo. Since leaving TNA, Russo has made it apparent that there is still animosity between them. Russo accused Bischoff of ensuring Hogan would despise him because of their own unresolved conflict.
When Jesse Ventura was looking for a means to get wrestlers to organize a union, Vince McMahon was very opposed to the notion. Ventura thought that the biggest star, Hulk Hogan, would join him in bringing the locker room together to improve the industry for everyone.
According to Ventura, Hogan informed McMahon of his intentions to halt the endeavor. Following Hogan's announcement of his ambitions, WWE and Ventura cooled up their spat about his image being used in video games. Hogan continues to be despised by Ventura, who recently accused him of being a narcissist for going to Donald Trump's presidential campaign rallies.
