The Rock's return to SmackDown set up his next appearance which will take place at WWE's upcoming Premium Live Event, Elimination Chamber 2025.
The Rock has changed the entire trajectory of WWE with his recent emergence on SmackDown. The Final Boss dropped the bombshell by making the announcement a day before SmackDown this week that he will appear for the show, leading to a lot of excitement among the fans.
The Final Boss' appearance was an absolute stellar sight and led to some interesting developments on the road to WrestleMania 41. Moreover, The Rock also announced that the fans would see him next in Toronto, Canada, for the Elimination Chamber 2025.
Will Cody Rhodes accept the offer given by The Rock at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025?
The Rock came to WWE SmackDown this week, taking place in the city of New Orleans, Louisana. The Final Boss started by dropping a bombshell announcement that WrestleMania will return to New Orleans next year for its 42nd edition at the Superdome on April 11 and 12, 2026.
Following that, The Great One turned his attention to one particular individual he wanted to see, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He came down to the ring to stand toe-to-toe with The Final Boss. The Rock revealed that he and Cody were now friends after their epic rivalry last year that culminated at WrestleMania 40. Moreover, he was proud of Rhodes' title reign, which spanned for over a year.
The Rock then reminded the fans and Cody Rhodes of his status as a member of the TKO Board and wanted Cody Rhodes to become his champion. He offered him this lucrative deal, claiming that it would take his career to heights he had never seen and taste the same level of success as The Rock, citing his worldwide fame.
At the end of their segment, The Rock told Cody Rhodes to think about his offer and give his answer at the 2025 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event confirming his appearance. With Rhodes having a lifetime offer at the cost of selling himself out to his former rival and current boss, it will be interesting to see what he says to The Rock at the Elimination Chamber event
