Ethan Page claimed the NXT Title during the Fatal Four Way match at NXT Heatwave. Competing against Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans, and Shawn Spears, Ethan emerged victorious in a unique fashion. All the competitors put forth their best efforts to make the match memorable. However, a critical mistake by Trick Williams ultimately crowned Ethan as the new NXT Champion.
In the final moments, Trick executed his finisher, Trick Shot, on Evans and then on Ethan. As a result, Ethan fell onto Evans, leading the referee to count to three and declare Ethan the new NXT Champion.
