Michaels, in the documentary episode, acknowledged Orton's ability to carve out a legacy that surpasses that of his father:

"I don't know how many legacies come in and far exceed the one before them, and I mean that [with] no disrespect to his father, but Randy, in a short amount of time, stepped out of that shadow, everything, and just created something all himself. The fact that Orton was his last name just happened to be a happy coincidence."

Bob Orton Jr., who competed in WWE during the 1980s, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. Michaels' praise for Randy Orton emphasizes the latter's significant impact and individual success within the wrestling industry, solidifying his status as one of the sport's enduring legends.
