NEW DELHI: WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels provided insights into the current status of plans for WWE NXT Europe, shedding light on the company's commitment to the brand despite uncertainties.
The announcement of WWE NXT Europe came in August 2022, following the closure of NXT UK. Originally slated for a 2023 launch, renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer later suggested a potential delay to 2024.

Notably, there were discussions hinting that NXT Europe could have been centered around the charismatic Will Ospreay, as WWE sought to attract the accomplished wrestler. However, Ospreay shocked the wrestling world by signing with AEW in November 2023, set to join the promotion after the conclusion of his NJPW contract in early 2024.
During the media call, Shawn Michaels expressed WWE's unwavering support for NXT Europe, emphasizing the company's commitment to the brand.
