Sami Zayn recently lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam, and lost the rematch for the Championship again this Monday on RAW. Despite the loss, Zayn has expressed his love for what he does in the ring and heaped praise on a particular part of the match, that had accurate cooperation and crisp action set piece, between him and Bron.

After losing the rematch for the Intercontinental Championship, which was taken away from him by Bron Breakker at SummerSlam, Sami has reflected on his love for the art of wrestling, which was and encapsulated in a small part of the match. “So much of what I love about the art of wrestling is encapsulated in this short clip: Unique characters and the dynamics between them, the legitimate threat of serious injury and skills it takes to narrowly avoid it, a collective emotional response from thousands of people sharing a moment in time, expressed uniquely by each individual experiencing it. It's a beautiful thing. (‘I realise this is a strange way to talk about almost getting killed’) ” said Sami in a post on X(fka Twitter).

Clearly, all is not lost for the former Intercontinental Champion as he is not completely dejected by his back to back losses to Breakker. He still sees the brighter side of things and wants to cherish what he has been able to do for the WWE universe and fans across the world for the better part of the last 10 years. Sami was also intrigued by his own admission of loving something that might even kill him potentially, as there is always risk involved in wrestling and wrestlers like Brom Breakker, who are ruthless with their approach, are always dangerous for one’s well being.

Sami won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XL in a brilliant display of grit and determination, defeating Gunther who had a record run with the title of 666 days. He was able to defend it quite a few times(against Bron too), before losing to Bron at SummerSlam, in an excellent contest. Following that loss, he was granted a rematch in a Two out of Three Falls stipulation, in which he lost again. Going ahead, will he challenge Bron again for the Championship, or a new Contender would be found as the challenger for Breakker’s Championship? This question shall be answered in the next few weeks.
