Samantha Irvin left WWE citing that she was not interested in continuing her role in the promotion as an announcer. While fans initially believed that she was AEW bound as her life partner Ricochet, she later revealed her desire to continue her musical career. In a recent interaction with WWE Superstar Lola Vice, Irvin reacted with rather a witty response, again, leaving fans talking about her return. Lola Vince posted a video on Instagram showing her gym training, and rigorous training routine, featuring powerful punches, swift kicks, and a touch of playful dance moves. Irvin quickly jumped into the comment section and wrote, “Is it too late to come back?”

In a recent chat with Chris Van Vliet, Irvin’s fiancé Ricochet shared the reason behind her WWE departure sharing that she has been planning it for quite a while, “She’s been talking about that for a while, even before my stuff was up. I think it happened at WrestleMania. I think year’s WrestleMania [40] was for her, because, especially for her announcing was only supposed to be like the way into WWE,” the former WWE star said.

Ricochet added, “She wants to be a stage performer. It’s hard to sing, and it’s funny, because a lot of that stuff she was like, I’m so nervous. I don’t even want to do this, because it’s so nerve-wracking, especially the national anthem.”

Ricochet added that Irvin has "love and respect" for her role and wrestling. Still, she had hoped to step into a role more like Paul Heyman’s, "like a manager or something." Reflecting on her time with WWE, she shared, "I loved WWE, and I loved my time there, and I loved everything that I did. But at the end of the day, it’s a huge production. It’s the biggest production in entertainment, it travels, it’s huge."

Regardless, Irvin’s WWE return is slim to none as WWE veteran Lilian Garcia returned to WWE as an announcer.
