Sable’s Relationship History: Exploring Past Marriages of the Former WWE Women’s Champion

WWE star Sable was one of the most gorgeous women on the roster during the heights of the Attitude Era. But even before she came into wrestling, Sable had actually been married twice already.

Sable was the prime example of beauty and power in WWE during the heights of the infamous Attitude Era. She broke into the wrestling business in 1994 and made a huge impact in WWE, winning the Women’s title, defining strength and power and being a part of some of the most controversial moments in the company. This included never before seen moments and her angles with male wrestlers and personnel, most notably Vince McMahon.

But outside her larger-than-life persona, she was Rena Greek, a Jacksonville native who had her fair share of not only romantic relationships but past marriages as well. Moreover, Sable already was married twice before she started as a WWE superstar.

1) Wayne W Richardson - 1st husband

In 1987, Sable got married to a man named Wayne W. Richardson. The couple was married for almost four years and even had a daughter together named Mariah. However, her husband passed away in a drunk driving incident in 1991, leading to a sad end to her first marriage.

2 Marc Mero - 2nd husband

Two years after the death of her first husband, Sable met former boxer turned professional wrestling star Marc Mero. The duo got married in 1994. It was two years later that she began in the wrestling industry as a WWE superstar. Moreover, the couple were also featured on WWE TV, including the moment when Sable actually powerbombed him in the ring. Sable and Mero remained married until 2004 when Sable decided to leave him for another big WWE name, leading to their divorce.

3) Brock Lesnar - 3rd husband

Sable made her return to WWE in the early 2000s after she had sued the company at the end of her last run. During her time on SmackDown, she began dating then-rising star Brock Lesnar, who she later got engaged to in 2004. The couple married after two years on May 6, 2006, and since then, Sable has kept a low profile making limited public appearances. The duo went on to have two sons, Turk and Duke. Most recently, Brock Lesnar and Sable were spotted together at a music concert. They continue to live a simple and quiet life in Canada, having been married for twenty years.
