Roman Reigns has been one of the top superstars in WWE’s roster right now and he has been dominating the brand for quite a while. While the Original Tribal Chief is signed to SmackDown, his presence in the promotion’s highly anticipated Raw debut on Netflix was expected, and the man himself confirmed that he will have a prime spot at the premium live event-level night.
Roman Reigns is set for WWE’s Raw debut on Netflix
Fans have been curious about Roman Reigns’ presence at the Red Brand’s debut on Netflix. Despite his signing to SmackDown, Reigns recently shared that he will be present at the hyped event. In a recent interview on SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, the former Undisputed Champion exclusively confirmed his involvement. “I’m on the premiere,” Reigns said.
“I don’t think I can share too much more than that at this point. We haven’t scheduled my exact dates for going into WrestleMania from Rumble forward, but that is definitely a topic that has to be addressed,” Reigns added.
Further, Reigns reflected on WWE’s huge deal with Netflix as Raw is set to make history shifting from decades-long television broadcasting of the weekly flagship event to streaming. “It’s an understandable one for the impact, the amount of money that is part of this deal. These are all great problems to have. Nobody loves being in the tug of war more than me. It usually works out pretty good,” the OTC said of the deal.
Certainly, the Raw debut on the streaming giant has been one of the most hyped events WWE has prepared this year. It was previously reported that several SmackDown superstars will be present at the debit episode while WWE has teased John Cena’s retirement tour run starting with the upcoming event.
As for Reigns, he is set to go on a brawl alongside his team in the original Bloodline including Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk against Solo Sikoa’s faction consisting of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed at WWE Survivor Series in a WarGames match.
