NEW DELHI: Bayley secured her spot at WrestleMania 40 by winning the 2024 WWE Women's Royal Rumble match. The leader of Damage CTRL outlasted 29 formidable opponents, setting a new record with a remarkable one-hour-and-three-minute performance in the annual extravaganza.

Bayley's path to victory included eliminating several notable contenders, such as Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, Bianca Belair, Tegan Nox, Maxxine Dupri, Tiffany Stratton, and Liv Morgan.

While Nia Jax held the record for the most eliminations with eight, Bayley's endurance and strategic prowess ultimately earned her the coveted Royal Rumble triumph.

With her WrestleMania title match opportunity in hand, Bayley has yet to formally declare her choice of opponent. However, Rhea Ripley, the current Women's World Champion, wasted no time in responding to Bayley's victory. The Eradicator, known for her tenacity, embraced the challenge and proposed an "Iron Woman Match."

The proposed stipulation, not witnessed in WWE since the memorable encounter between Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks at Roadblock: End of the Line in 2016, adds an intriguing layer to the potential clash between Bayley and Rhea Ripley. In that historic encounter, The Queen emerged victorious over The Boss for the RAW Women's Championship.

"Iron woman match?" responded Rhea Ripley, signaling her readiness for a demanding and endurance-testing contest.
