Following months of speculations, it seems like the Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG) might be joining WWE soon. Rumor is that the group shall be making their entry on the premiere of WWE NXT takes place on October 1. Fans are undoubtedly excited as both Sabin and Shelley have numerous accolades under their belt including TNA World Tag Team Championship, X Division Championship, and Heavyweight Championship.
They have also held the ROH World Tag Championship and have made a mark in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). This switching of talents between WWE and TNA won’t strike as surprising given the two companies' successful collaboration. Prior to MCMG’s inter-promotion switch, there were whispers that the group might join AEW. This means that there could be many possibilities that prompted this transition.
It seems that they were offered a ‘better deal’ by WWE compared to what AEW was proposing. In addition to the induction of Motor City Machine Guns, the upcoming NXT show is shaping up to be quite a spectacle.
