What Does Paul Heyman Actually Do in WWE? Here’s His Perfect Answer

In a recent appearance on Logan Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul Heyman, the legendary manager and storyteller, dropped some truth bombs about his illustrious career. While many would expect the "Wise Man" to boast about his own accolades and legendary status, Heyman, true to his character, admitted that personal glory takes a backseat to the art of crafting compelling narratives.

He said, "This is where the humility would kick in. I really don't know how I would describe [his role] it or if I'd even be inclined to describe it because, you know, there's a part of me that says in terms of the public, I only care about what they see within the character, and how I support the presentation of the stories that circle around the 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns. And if I'm solely judged by that in terms of the public, then that's fine with me."

Heyman also discussed his equally important behind-the-scenes work, where he is instrumental in determining WWE's future. Mentoring talent at all experience levels was a topic he spoke passionately about.

He further said, "What I get to do which is an equal passion ... what I get to do backstage is working with anybody, you [Logan Paul], Bron Breakker, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Gunther, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, you name it. You know, just people who don't have the benefit of 40 years within the industry."

Heyman continues to define what is cool in professional wrestling, from redefining the industry with ECW to playing a key role in what is arguably the greatest plot in WWE history: The Bloodline saga.
