NXT Star Written Off TV Following Departure from WWE

The recent WWE storyline involving the No Quarter Catch Crew has ... Read More
There are numerous methods for writing a wrestler off TV and what we witnessed this week was shocking, to say the least. What was possibly a crime was broadcasted for viewers across the world where three members of the No Quarter Catch Crew seemingly terminated Damon Kemp off-screen before his WWE contract expired.

A wrestler might leave a promotion for various reasons, leading to creative ways of writing them off. This week, we witnessed one such departure, featuring a storyline with implied murder in a Mafia style.

On July 9, 2024, we witnessed the three remaining members of the No Quarter Catch Crew – Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, and Tavion Heights at the trunk of a Chevrolet with Charlie seemingly frustrated with someone. He repeatedly shouted the phrase “Mistakes won’t be tolerated” while slamming on the car's trunk.

The three members of the No Quarter Catch Crew can then be seen entering the car as they prepare to get rid of unfinished business. That is when the camera pans to Wren Sinclair standing dangerously close to the car and the trio. She insisted that she did not see anything, fearing for her life. She saw her life flash in front of her eyes and we expected her to meet a similar fate to the unfortunate Damon Kemp.

However, all of this is mere speculation and we have no solid evidence if this was related to something sinister or just something trivial that was pumped up by Charlie Dempsey in the heat of the moment. If people’s speculation of the No Quarter Catch Crew murdering Damon Kemp were true, then we feel that Wren Sinclair would not have been let off so easily. Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, and the newly-recruited Tavion Heights would definitely take care of her in a similar fashion.

Was Damon Kemp released from WWE?

In this week’s NXT episode, the No Quarter Catch Crew, without Damon Kemp, put someone in the trunk of a car and declared that there was no room for mistakes on the team. Wren Sinclair then appeared and claimed she didn’t witness anything. Though unconfirmed, this seems to be Kemp’s exit from WWE, as he announced that his contract with WWE has ended. According to Fightful Select, this wasn't a release; rather, WWE chose not to renew Kemp’s expired contract. It’s currently unknown where Kemp will wrestle next.
