“No, we love each other…”: WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash opens up on Kliq This about Sting
American retired professional wrestler, actor and podcaster Kevin Nash has been a regular under the limelight since being in the WWE Hall of Fame. His podcast “Kliq This” with over a million fans worldwide has been widely appreciated and well-received by followers of WWE. In a very recent episode of this podcast, Nash gave a sneak peak about his relationship with Sting. Nash talked about meeting Sting at a recent convention and his elation at meeting an old friend was evident from this interview.
“It was so great to see him….”: Kevin Nash opens up about his meeting with Sting In the recent podcast, Nash spoke about the health advice he gave to Sting. In this candid interview, Nash fondly recalled meeting his old friend, “It was nice, really great [to meet Sting]. It was so great to see him because there was so much internet talk about me not going to Steve's last match”. Further delving into the discussion with the host Sean Oliver regarding his absent from the last match, Nash added, “No, we love each other. He's my friend. It's like, he understands.”
“Because, chances are that your labrums are gone”: Kevin Nash's concerns about his old friend
In an earlier interview, the Hall of Famer had discussed why he turned down the invitation to be present at the match, stating he didn't want to be physically present at “The Stinger's” swansong match at AEW Revolution. Although, the WWE legend was concerned about his dear old friend's health and the shoulder pain he had been experiencing for a while, advising him to get a MRI done and properly checked.
“We talked about like, you know, his shoulders are starting to bother him and we're the…. Steve and I are the same age, and it's just like it was so funny because we haven't talked to each other about shoulder pain at all but it's just like all of a sudden he's like, ‘I don't know what I did.’ I said,”It's like a switch, like all of a sudden just one day you wake up and it's just like my shoulders are killing me.’ I said,’ what you got to do is get MRIs,’ I said, ‘Because chances are that your labrums are gone and you're bone on bone,’” said Nash.
Wrestling being a gruesome sport takes a toll on the physical well being of the players. It becomes evident why along with adequate nutrition and disciplined regime, regular health check ups are deemed mandatory. While the fans hold their breath for the second innings in the career of “the Stinger”, hope he makes a speedy recovery from his current predicament.
