Who is Michael Cole's Wife? Exploring the personal life of the legendary WWE commentator

Sean Michael Coulthard, better known by his ring name Michael Cole, is perhaps one of the most popular, legendary, longest-serving professional wrestling commentators for WWE. You would hardly come across anyone who wouldn't have heard his commentary during a WWE match. In a career spanning over two- decades, he has had hard-to-miss-on-screen hosting and commentary roles.

Michael Cole has been married to Yolanda Coles since 1987.Together, they have two sons. In a recent interview with Richard Dietsch, Michael Cole has revealed that his wife and his two sons are not a fan of WWE at all. In fact, they don't watch WWE at all! Michael went on to state, “I think one of the reasons that I've survived as long as I have here, is I have never, with the exception of maybe one or two people, I have never become close personal friends with anybody in the ring. I've always kept an arm's length distance. I'm friendly with them. We talk, exchange texts, do whatnot, but I'm not the type of guy that's gonna go out for dinner with him. I'm not the type of guy that's gonna go sit in the bar with him for the most part. It's the same thing as being a journalist in a weird sort of way even though what we do is scripted television. You know, you really have to separate friendship from our profession, and so for the most part, I'm friendly. But I'm not friends with the guys I work it and that's done by design.”

Later in the interview, Cole also added, “I have a life away from our company and I've had the opportunity to be able to separate those things for 26 years. My wife's not a wrestling fan. She doesn't watch the product. My kids aren't wrestling fans. They don't watch the product, I go to work and I do my job and I go home and we talk about the world and not WWE. I think that's helped me as a performer as it's helped my longevity here as well.”
Cole considers himself lucky to be able to separate his personal and professional lives thanks to his wife and kids not taking any interest in wrestling. For the most parts, our legendary commentator has kept his private life under wraps.

According to some reports by Wrestlezone.com, Michael Cole's wife has had a kidney transplant done a few years back. During an appearance in The Pat McAfee Show, Cole revealed how his wife reacted on seeing his WrestleMania paycheck, “She appreciates everything that this company has given me. S-, it gave her a kidneys transplant, it paid for that and put two of my kids through college and given us everything we ever wanted in our life, the McMahon family.”
