Mark Henry, also known as "The World's Strongest Man," has expressed doubts about one of
WWE's major storylines leading into the upcoming premium live event, Bad Blood. The event will feature a highly anticipated match where Undisputed WWE Champion
Cody Rhodes will team up with former rival
Roman Reigns to face off against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. However, despite the high stakes and the tension teased between Rhodes and Reigns during the September 13 episode of "WWE SmackDown," Henry believes the buildup fell short.
Henry discussed his ideas on a recent "
Busted Open Radio" program.
"I don't know if Roman has been paying close enough attention," he replied. Henry surmised that Reigns might be preoccupied with personal matters, especially those related to his family and the history of The Bloodline. "Maybe his judgment is clouded because he's worried about the ula fala [Samoan necklace], and the rest of the family, and The Bloodline, but I think he kinda poo poo'd on the fact that Cody beat him." Henry looked offended by this allusion to Rhodes' triumph over Reigns because he believed that Reigns' attention was not being directed where it ought to be.

Henry was also unimpressed by Reigns' recent promo, in which Reigns declared that he was "still" the tribal chief and that it was "still" his ring and "still" his WWE. For Henry, this speech missed the mark, particularly after Reigns' decisive loss at WrestleMania, which signaled to many fans that the time had come to move beyond Reigns' reign.
"Even though he may consider himself the tribal chief of their family, when you're not the champion, you're not the tribal chief of the WWE," Henry added. He emphasized that Cody Rhodes, as the reigning champion, should be recognized as the true leader in WWE.
"Cody is the commander-in-chief of the WWE because he's the one that's holding the strap."As WWE continues to expand the complex Bloodline storyline, questions remain about how the family dynamics will evolve. A returning Jimmy Uso could play a pivotal role in the upcoming events. Recently, Uso’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, posted a cryptic message on social media asking fans to pray for his son, sparking concern among the WWE Universe. However, it is widely believed that Uso is doing fine, and just a few weeks ago, Rikishi indicated that Jimmy was ready for a return to the ring. With all these moving parts, it remains to be seen how the tensions between Rhodes, Reigns, and The Bloodline will unfold at Bad Blood.
