WWE Superstar Logan Paul faces criticism after famous YouTuber discovers moldy cheese in Lunchly meal box

In a recent controversy surrounding Logan Paul’s Lunchly, a lunch kit marketed as a healthier alternative to Lunchables, concerns have surfaced over mold found in several meal packs. Lunchly, a product launched by two other YouTube celebrities besides Logan Paul - MrBeast, and KSI - in September 2024, combines their existing brands like Prime Hydration and Feastables chocolate. However, since its release, consumers have reported alarming issues with the product.

Popular YouTuber Rosanna Pansino highlighted the issue on October 16, 2024, when she found mold in one of the pizza kits from Lunchly. Despite the product’s expiration date being two months away, Pansino encountered mold in the cheese and shared her discovery in a video on social media. She stated, "This is disgusting. The expiration date was still 2 months away!" and explained that she had been planning to compare Lunchly with traditional Lunchables but was forced to stop filming due to the contamination. She said, “I was shooting a video comparing Lunchly to Lunchables and I opened the first package, which was meant to be good till December 8th, 2024, and we just got this one, it was fresh from the store this morning and there is a ton of mold in there.”



She further stated, “I honestly wasn’t expecting that, I was thinking that, you know, they would taste pretty similar, just, you know, would not have the best, or better for you, ingredients. And I was going to go over nutritional facts and things but this is really concerning so I am just pausing from filming this to take a little break to show this.” This shows that Rosanna was optimistic about Lunchly but Logan Paul along with his business associates failed to live up to her expectations.

Other consumers have echoed similar experiences. Multiple reports surfaced online, showing photos and videos of moldy cheese in Lunchly packs, particularly in the pizza kit. Pansino noted that, in some cases, the adhesive seals on the boxes seemed compromised, potentially allowing air inside and causing the mold. In her review, she said, "This is not safe, especially for kids who may not know what mold looks like."



Lunchly representatives responded to the claims, stating that the product undergoes strict quality control, including USDA inspections, before being shipped to retailers. However, these reassurances have done little to alleviate consumer concerns about food safety. With public pressure mounting, it remains to be seen if Logan Paul and his business partners will address the mold issue and ensure higher quality standards for their products.

For now, many are awaiting further updates on this growing issue, with consumers hoping for a quick resolution to prevent more incidents of moldy Lunchly kits being sold to families across the country.
