WWE superstar and social media sensation Logan Paul has stirred the pot once again, both inside and outside the ring. As he gears up for a high-profile title showdown with Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paul has made headlines not just for his championship aspirations, but also for his comments on fan criticism and his standing within WWE.
On a recent episode of his podcast Impaulsive, Paul addressed the hate he regularly receives from the WWE Universe, claiming it’s “forced.” He said, “Logan Paul hate is forced in WWE. Say whatever the f*** you want about me - about my ability to wrestle, about my ability on the mic, even about my ability to become champion and beat Jey Uso. It’s not true. You’re lying to yourself.”
The 30-year-old US Champion is no stranger to controversy or confidence. His remarks come as he prepares for what will be his third world title opportunity in WWE, and he didn’t hold back when addressing his opponent either. Paul labelled Jey Uso a “cosplay champion,” saying, “You couldn’t even come up with your own catchphrase, so you took mine.”
Despite being a polarizing figure, Paul’s meteoric rise in WWE cannot be denied. Since debuting, he’s competed in headline matches and continues to draw big reactions from fans - both positive and negative.
Logan Paul receives support from WWE Hall of Famer
While fans remain divided, WWE Hall of Famer JBL has added his voice to the growing chorus of support for Paul. Speaking on the Something to Wrestle With podcast, JBL boldly predicted that Logan Paul is destined for the top.
“Logan Paul is going to be a world champion. There’s no doubt about it,” he said. However, JBL stopped short of backing Paul to win this weekend. “I don’t think it’s this weekend. You got Jey Uso, and you got to give him time. He is over like crazy right now.”
Still, JBL doubled down on Paul’s long-term prospects. “Eventually, Logan Paul, that’s a heat-seeking missile… He’s going to be a great world champion. That’s gonna make some people mad.”
As Paul heads into one of the biggest matches of his WWE career, fans are split—but the spotlight is firmly on The Maverick once again. Whether he walks out of Saturday Night’s Main Event with the World Heavyweight Championship or not, one thing is clear: Logan Paul is not going away anytime soon. With industry veterans like JBL backing his future and his own confidence on full display, Paul seems determined to prove that his success in WWE isn’t a fluke - it’s just the beginning. For better or worse, the WWE Universe will be watching.
