TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has addressed the possibility of joining WWE after his TNA wrestling contract comes to an end. Following the 2025 Royal Rumble match, he received a huge reaction from fans and sports enthusiasts during his surprise appearance.
As Jordynne Grace entered the 2024 women's Royal Rumble as TNA Knockouts World Champion, similarly Joe Hendry entered the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble as TNA World Champion. It is speculated that Henry could soon follow in her footsteps and might join the WWE.

Joe Hendry, while speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of SHAK Wrestling expressed that he’s currently focusing on his role as TNA World Champion. When asked if he anticipates WWE being the next destination for him after his TNA Wrestling run ends, Hendry stated: "My job is to be the TNA World Champion. My job is to represent TNA, to elevate this championship, and to elevate this company, so my focus is on TNA Wrestling."
Joe Hendry’s comments on his Royal Rumble defeat
The TNA Wrestling World Champion has addressed his physical exchange with Roman Reigns during the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble held on February 1, 2025. One week after his Rumble appearance, Hendry took to Twitter to share a picture of the moment of his clash with Reigns, along with the caption: “Not everyone believes…”
He had perhaps the greatest pop of all during the Men's Royal Rumble as Hendry became the first male TNA contractual talent to enter the contest in its history.
Entering at number 15, Hendry lasted for over three minutes, locking horns with the company’s biggest star Roman Reigns, who entered at 16. The clash with Reigns made for surreal viewing for fans of Hendry, but the Tribal Chief prevailed by throwing a spear and finally taking out the Scottish star.
