In two X posts made on July 30, Ventura documented his time at RAW with a picture of him sharing the frame with CM Punk under which he wrote “Why did I come back? For moments like these…”, tagging WWE and CM Punk. Another post read “Yes, it's true. The Body is back home. Thank you @TripleH and the whole @WWE family. @CMPunk looks like hell froze over... again.”

Triple H says “Welcome home” to Jesse Ventura

Triple H too posted a video of him greeting Ventura and sharing a gracious moment. In the caption he penned a heartfelt message saying, “Welcome home, Jesse Ventura. Honored to have one of the all-time greats back to #WWERaw tonight.” Needless to say the internet was quick to reciprocate this sentiment, with the wrestling community expressing their excitement over this powerful moment.

Whether Ventura will return once more to a WWE event remains to be seen, but it has been reported that he is currently in talks with the company for a Legends Deal. Speaking with WABC 77 Radio’s Frank Morano, he stated, “I’m back negotiating with them. We’re in talks right now. In fact, I have contracts with my attorney right now with the WWE. And I can only say that that’s happened because of the change of direction in the company. We don’t know right now fully. They want to bring me back under their Legends. You know, I’m an old guy now and you’ve got to have the legends.”

The first being when he had appeared in an WWE television in 1999 as a special guest referee at the SummerSlam while serving as the 38th Governor of Minnesota. Before transitioning to his political career, Ventura enjoyed a prolific career at wrestling earning his place as one of the greats. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.
