However, there have been significant updates. Grant filed a pre-action discovery petition aimed at Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, to obtain medical records crucial to the case. After a judge rejected McMahon's effort to block this action, Dr. Colker has now filed a motion accusing Grant.

Janel Grant’s legal support has strongly refuted the statements made by the doctor connected to the lawsuit. The legal team argues that the doctor's claims are misleading and do not reflect the true nature of the case. They are pushing back against these declarations to clarify their client's position and strengthen their case.

According to POST Wrestling reports Grant filed a motion on Monday asking the court to reject Colker's complaint and dismiss his bill of discovery. She also asks for statutory sanctions, costs, and attorney fees against the plaintiffs. Grant's team described Colker's complaint as a desperate and bold attempt to stop a former patient from looking into issues with her medical care.

In his complaint, Colker argued that Grant’s accusations could harm his reputation and negatively affect his practice and Peak Wellness for a long time. Grant responded that Colker’s complaint did not provide valid reasons for him or Peak Wellness to receive any relief and violated her right to free speech. Grant also accused Colker of making the complaint to unfairly harass and trouble her.

Janel Grant is asking for three times the damages from Colker and Peak Wellness because they brought the discovery bill without a good reason listed.


Colker’s legal team chose not to comment anything on the filming and stated they would wait to make any comments in court.
