The highly publicized case between former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and Janel Grant has been making waves since 2024. Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, alleging him of s*x trafficking and s*xual misconduct charges. As soon as it became public, McMahon resigned from WWE's parent company, TKO, and cut ties from the company he built.

Janel Grant recently made her first public appearance at the Capitol news briefing hosted by the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence to give statement on the ongoing lawsuit against Vince McMahon. She has revealed new details regarding the case. Firstly, Grant berated WWE for labelling her relationship with McMahon as consensual and constantly pushed her to give a joint statement.

Secondly, she blamed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) that people use to seal the victim's lips and continue to harm and torture them. Moreover, the ex-WWE employee also revealed that she attempted to commit suicide and spent six figures to fight the legal battle against a corporation like WWE and a tycoon like Vince McMahon. This highlighted some of the personal struggles that Grant went through in her life.

What is happening in the Vince McMahon Janel Grant case?

The lawsuit has been under federal investigation for a long time and even taken legal shape in court. According to the latest court filling, both sides have agreed to an arbitration hearing scheduled in June 2026. The case is moving forward following the judge's recent ruling on the case. Furthermore, both parties will submit a Joint Notice to highlight deadlines in regards to Vince McMahon and WWE's motions to compel with the proposed arbiteration.

In her latest appearance, Janel Grant detailed the list of presents she received from Vince McMahon during their time together. This included luxurious cars, necklaces, expensive gift cards, medical care & cosmetic services, flowers every week and a lot more.


This attracted a mixed response from fans, some of them who berated Grant's claims towards the former WWE CEO. However, the case is still very much ongoing and could now take an interesting turn following Janel Grant's first public apperance and the upcoming June arbiteration.
