"It caused my life to crumble": Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke Hogan reveals the abuse and pain behind her estrangement from her parents

Hulk Hogan, the WWE icon, divorced his ex-wife, Linda Hogan, in 2007, but eighteen years later, their unresolved family drama is now playing out in public.

Recently, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Hogan, shared now deleted Instagram stories where she spoke about the rift with their daughter, Brooke, and accused the WWE icon of lying and “being addicted to s*x”. While Hulk Hogan has not reacted to these claims yet, their daughter has opened up about it.

Hours after Linda Hogan posted several Instagram stories about their broken family, which are now deleted, their daughter, Brooke, shared a heartfelt statement on Instagram. Brooke Hogan spoke about the “verbal and mental abuse” she has faced in her family for years.

In her statement, she wrote, “I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood…Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes.”



Brooke Hogan also added, “I’ve been ASKED to defend poor behaviour to the public and have done so out of love…I’ve watched others benefit financially off my suffering and embarrassment…while it caused my life to crumble." She also specified that she has different reasons for going out of touch with both of her parents. She added, “This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me directly my entire life.”

While Brooke Hogan detailed the abuse she has faced in her life, she also spoke about how she is saddened by the distance that the abuse has created between her and her parents. She added that inside her, there is a “little girl who wants and needs her Mom and Dad”.

Fans have been extremely supportive of Brooke Hogan. A fan commented, “Girl. I feel this. I’m not a celebrity - but I so get the trauma you have - I am so sorry." Another fan wrote, “Sorry for things that have hurt you! The world is proud of who you are as a human, wife and mother! We believe in you ! Praying and sending all my love to your beautiful family !! ��”

The WWE icon, Hulk Hogan, has not yet reacted to his ex-wife’s claims of him being a “s*x addict” and “lying”. The two tied the knot in 1983 and got divorced in 2007. Since then, Hulk Hogan has been married twice; his recent marriage being to Sky Daily in September 2023.
