Randy Orton, after WrestleMania 41, plans to pursue his 15th World Championship title. During WWE SmackDown, he expressed respect for Cody Rhodes and hinted at a future title match should Rhodes retain his title against John Cena.

Randy Orton has revealed his plans after the dust settled at WrestleMania 41 and that has hinted towards a blockbuster showdown.
Randy Orton is one of the most tenured and remarkable WWE superstars of all time. He is still in the prime of his career and has the ability to perform for another decade, as he revealed last year. Moreover, The Viper has a huge WrestleMania 41 showdown ahead of him in Las Vegas. However, on this week's WWE SmackDown, Orton made his intentions clear regarding his plans after the show.

Randy Orton has huge plans in mind after WrestleMania 41

The March 28th, 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown opened with the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He began to address his WrestleMania 41 opponent, John Cena, following their recent confrontations on RAW over the last few weeks. This led to the appearance of Randy Orton, who joined Rhodes in the ring.
WWE Apex's Predator revealed that he had nothing but respect for his protege and the success he has claimed. Orton spoke about his life after WWE's release in 2016 and how he became a bigger star in the outside world and returned to WWE in 2022. Not only that, Orton applauded for the top moments Cody had after returning, such as wrestling in a Hell in a Cell with a torn pec and ending Roman Reigns' 1,316-day title reign at WrestleMania 40.

Orton then turned his attention to WrestleMania 41, which is on the horizon, and vowed to take down his opponent, Kevin Owens, and claimed the Rhodes would do the same to John Cena. But right after, Orton made it clear that after WrestleMania 41, there would come a time when he would want to challenge for his 15th World Championship. He said, "There would come a time when I'm gonna wanna go after number 15."

This garnered a loud pop from the audience as the seeds have been planted for a future title match between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Should Rhodes be able to retain his title against Cena, a match against Randy Orton looks to be on the cards at a major WWE Premium Live Event.
