“I’d probably say I’d like to wrestle ‘The Snake” - WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes Reveals His Dream Opponent

WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, a prominent wrestling star, has faced some of the biggest names in the industry, including Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Kurt Angle. Despite competing in numerous iconic matches and currently holding the title of Undisputed Champion, Rhodes recently revealed his ultimate dream opponent. He shared that his choice would be quite surprising if he could face anyone from the past or present.

WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, during an appearance on BBC Newsround, was asked about his dream opponent. Without hesitation, Rhodes named WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts as his ideal choice.
Cody Rhodes stated:
“Hmm, I’d probably say I’d like to wrestle – this is perhaps a random one – Jake Roberts. Jake ‘The Snake.’ Just because he had a really kind of unique psychology to how we do this in front of an audience, and I’d like to learn in addition to [fighting] him at the same time.”

Though they’ve never had a match, Jake Roberts once had some tough words for Rhodes during his AEW debut. Recently, Rhodes has been busy with media interviews in the UK as WWE toured England and Wales with several live events. While visiting Manchester City, Cody even compared himself to one of the team's players.
Cody Rhodes is currently one of the biggest names in the wrestling world, and his presence drives fans wild. However, with the return of Roman Reigns, many are now questioning how WWE will handle two of its top superstars being on the same stage. The big question is who will receive more attention and prominence moving forward.
After WWE Bad Blood 2024, many believe that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will restart their rivalry. The two joined forces to defeat Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at the event. Reigns has already told Rhodes that once the Bloodline is out of the way, he plans to go after him to settle their score.

It will be interesting to see what happens next and what surprises WWE has in store for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Additionally, Cody Rhodes’ newly formed rivalry with his friend Kevin Owens is also heating up, and it will be exciting to see how this feud unfolds in the coming days.
