When it comes to the most powerful faction in WWE today, one name stands above the rest: The Bloodline. This group has dominated the scene, and over the years, fans have witnessed their journey filled with blood, sweat, tears, and countless ups and downs. The Bloodline has delivered not just the best but some of the most memorable matches, making their storyline the finest in WWE. Even Jey Uso, a former member, recently spoke out about how perfectly crafted the Bloodline's storyline truly is, capturing the attention of WWE fans everywhere.
Jey Uso shares the reasons behind the Success of The Bloodline Storyline
In a recent interview with "Busted Open Radio," Jey Uso reflected on the group's significant success, particularly during the Covid and Thunderdome eras. He shared, "I think we elevated wrestling at that time as far as the Covid era, Thunderdome era, because it was just done different”. "We had to tap in more of the acting, and the emotion part rather than just moves because there was no crowd. So we could literally just play to the camera and really, really become like live actors on screen." (Credit: Busted Open Radio/ Wrestling Inc)
Discussing the creative process behind the Bloodline's successful storyline, Uso mentioned that he, along with Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, "The Wise Man" Paul Heyman, and WWE's Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque, regularly brainstormed ideas backstage. Jey Uso explained, "Sitting in a room with Hunter, the Wise Man, and Roman every week, we were just [discussing], 'What did we do last week? What are we going to do this week?' That's how we were doing it every single week. We didn't know what was happening, but it was weird because every time we felt this plateau a little bit, something organically happened on screen and it just made the story go more," Credit: Busted Open Radio/ Wrestling Inc)
Jey Uso is currently absent from the Bloodline storyline, focusing instead on his run in WWE Monday Night Raw. However, this could change soon. With Roman Reigns back, Jey Uso might rejoin him to take on Solo Sikoa and other Bloodline members, including Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu. Roman Reigns made a dramatic return during the Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, which was for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Roman made a stunning comeback, hitting Solo with a Superman Punch and a Spear, signaling the start of a new conflict between Roman and the current Bloodline members.
