SmackDown in Chicago was full of moments - some surprising, some shocking, and some that had us absolutely stunned. And the end segment with CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and of course Paul Heyman, fall in the latter category. Fans are still in disbelief, even as a new day begins, that Heyman, Reigns' one and only Wiseman, could say no to his Tribal Chief, even if it was with tears running down his face. What a night!

CM Punk's favor shocks everyone

At the beginning of the show in Chicago, CM Punk told the audience that he will finally share what favor he wants when Roman Reigns is present, so that he can do it in his face. Reigns, of course, took his sweet time getting there, and reached the stage at the very end of the show. Seth Rollins, who did not want to miss out on the fun, was also present to have a front row seat at whatever goes down, and boy was it a night to remember. “Punk, when you main event WrestleMania, force them to deal with us.”
These were the words said by Paul Heyman to CM Punk, when the latter asked him what he could do for him back in 2006, when Vince McMahon fired him. While Vince is not on the opposing side here, Punk will make sure that Reigns has to 'deal' with them - him and Heyman - at WrestleMania 41. The Triple Threat match was going to be interesting anyway, but now with Heyman in Punk's corner, the stakes have just gone up.

Paul Heyman stuns Roman Reigns and all the fans with his refusal

When CM Punk revealed the favor, to have Paul Heyman in his corner, Roman Reigns was seen laughing at him. He told his Wiseman to "let this desperate fool down, easy." Unfortunately for the OTC, his Wiseman had other plans. Instead of saying 'No' to Punk, Heyman's refusal for Reigns has shocked not only Reigns, but also the fans. Truly beyond expectation.
"No my Tribal Chief, I can't do that," broke a lot of hearts, possibly even Heyman's own. But it was the betrayal Reigns was suddenly faced with that left him shocked, not knowing what to do next. At least Seth Rollins was having fun, if him holding on to the ropes to keep himself from falling off from laughing was any indication. CM Punk's smirk also showed how pleased he was with Heyman's response.
The night ended with Punk attacking Reigns from behind while the latter was trying to go after Heyman, all while Rollins watched in glee. A helpless Paul Heyman watched from outside the ring as his beloved Tribal Chief went down after a GTS from Punk. The Road to WrestleMania is nothing short of nerve wracking, and with only two weeks left for the Show of Shows in Las Vegas, we can't wait to see what happens next. Also Read: WWE SmackDown Results and Highlights (04/04/25): CM Punk and Paul Heyman, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, Last Man Standing match, and more
