A top name from the world of combat sports left the ring to focus more on her family. She recently shared the good news of being blessed with another child recently. The world of professional wrestling has made or taken the careers of athletes to unprecedented heights. But there have come times in their lives when some of those superstars have taken a hiatus or left the combat sports world behind to raise their own families.

A top name in the industry did just that years ago despite being at the heights of her popularity and being a true pioneer of the business. She came back for another tenure but left the world of professional wrestling scene again to expand her family further. After being away for over a year, they announced the newest addition to their family.


Which top name in professional wrestling became a mother again?


On January 9, former UFC and WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey took to her Instagram to announce the birth of her second child. Rousey has been blessed with a baby girl, Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne. Rousey expressed gratitude that her child was born safe and sound at the heights of the LA wildfire scare that has destroyed the lives of many.

Ronda wrote, “ur little girl came into this world during a windstorm into a city on fire, so grateful she made it safe and sound, Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne ❤️.”

Ronda Rousey can be seen holding her new baby girl in the hospital room with her husband, Travis Browne and elder daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne who was born in 2021 when Rousey had first left WWE in 2019.


Ronda Rousey has been one of the biggest names in the world of combat sports


Ronda Rousey gained prominent with her dominant stint in UFC as their Bantemweight Champion with an incredible winning streak. Following her retirement, she signed with WWE and made her debut in 2018. It was only in a span of one year that Rousey became the WWE Women’s Champion and headlined the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet went on hiatus from WWE in 2019 to start her family. Ronda gave birth to her first daughter in 2021. In 2022, she returned to WWE for her second tenure which lasted until the 2023 WWE SummerSlam event which was her last match against her close friend, Shayna Baszler.

With Ronda Rousey adding a young angel to her life, this could be the start of another executing chapter in the life of the UFC Hall of Famer.
