Former WWE superstars CJ Perry and Miro have reconciled their differences and are back together as a couple.
The world of professional wrestling has seen many superstars find love with each other. But a hard truth is also that the fans have seen these couples drift apart. The same happened with former WWE superstars Miro and CJ Perry, who announced their separation in late 2023. However, recent reports state the couple has worked out their differences and are back together.
What happened with CJ Perry and Miro following their separation?
Miro and CJ Perry reportedly told TMZ Sports that they are back together as a couple. The duo stated that they began working out their differences in June 2024 when Miro returned from his home country Bulgaria. Over a period of time, the duo reconnected and began to come close to each other again. This led to Perry spending time with Miro in Bulgaria by December 2024.
Furthermore, after reconciliation was done, Miro and CJ Perry kept a small private ceremony to renew their vows in a church at Los Angeles a few weeks ago. Since they only separated and did not file for an actual divorce, it was easy for them to make things official again. The couple reportedly is spending time split between Bulgaria and Los Angeles.
Miro and CJ Perry met each other in the mid-2010s in WWE. At the time, they went by the ring names Rusev and Lana, respectively. Miro was the dominant in-ring athlete, while CJ Perry served as his manager. The duo was a prominent presence on WWE television programming for a long time. However, Miro left the company in 2021 to join a rival promotion, AEW. CJ Perry would also join him but instead become the manager of Andrade El Idolo.
However, at the 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view, CJ Perry betrayed Andrade El Idolo to join forces with Miro, but alliance came to an end shortly as both were off television. Moreover, it has also been reported the duo are no longer with AEW. But now that they are back together as a couple, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them.
