Former WWE Star Ronda Rousey Opens Up About Diminishing Support and Resources

Former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has been candid about her WWE experience during her recent media tour for her new autobiography. Rousey, who competed with WWE from 2018 to 2023, retired after a loss to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam.
Recently Rousey discussed the lack of support and resources she felt she received after her debut at WrestleMania 34, where she teamed up with Kurt Angle to face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.Despite improvements in her wrestling skills, Rousey expressed that she never felt she reached the same level of success in the ring again.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on "Insight," Ronda Rousey discussed the lack of support and resources she felt she received after her debut at WrestleMania 34.
Ronda Rousey Said -
"Because I got weeks to prepare, all the best minds in the business throwing their two cents in," she explained. "Triple H, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels is helping us out, Michael Hayes, Sara Amato. Everybody that saw it would give their two cents and be like, 'do this, do that...' and it was the product of a lot of different people and time and practice and precision and things like that. To when it got to the day of the event, it was just like, 'Oh my God, I'm so excited, I know exactly [what to do in] this match.' I always wanted to recreate that feeling, but I was never allowed ever again."

Former WWE Women’s star, Ronda Rousey stated how she had extensive support and preparation for her debut match, with guidance from top WWE superstars like Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels. Despite feeling well-prepared and excited for the match, she expressed disappointment that she was never able to replicate that level of support and preparation in her subsequent matches.
